Yadros Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Yadros acknowledges the global challenge of modern slavery and is committed to upholding ethical standards and integrity across all aspects of its operations. We recognize the importance of collaborative efforts from both the public and private sectors to combat modern slavery, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our business practices, supply chains, and services are free from any involvement in human rights violations.

This statement is prepared in compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018. While Canadian legislation (Bill S-211) has not yet been enacted, Yadros has taken into account the obligations outlined in the proposed legislation.

About Yadros

Yadros was established with a vision to revolutionize the education sector, particularly in the MEA and Levant regions, by providing a data-driven Ed-tech platform aimed at supporting sixth form and university students. Our platform simplifies the educational journey by leveraging AI and data to connect students, universities, and educational partners seamlessly.

We firmly believe that education is a fundamental right for all individuals, and our mission is to empower students globally to access the best educational opportunities available.

People and Supply Chains at Yadros

Yadros operates primarily in the education and technology sectors and collaborates with various suppliers for goods and services. Our supply chains are not complex, and we do not engage in relationships with suppliers in sectors where modern slavery is prevalent.

Our team members are engaged in roles that prioritize knowledge work, processing and production, and delivery of products or services. We ensure that our employees are not involved in low-skilled, low-paying, or hazardous jobs that are considered high-risk for modern slavery.

Identifying and Assessing Modern Slavery Risks

Yadros has conducted assessments to identify any potential risks related to modern slavery within our operations and supply chains. We have found no evidence of activities that adversely impact our employees or contribute to modern slavery.

While we recognize the possibility of indirect links to modern slavery through suppliers, we believe such risks are minimal given our sector, services, and functions. Moreover, our platform's design and the rigorous screening processes implemented by partner institutions and government agencies further mitigate any potential risks.

Policies

Yadros maintains robust policies to uphold good governance standards, including our Code of Conduct and Ethics, Whistleblower Policy, Anti-Terrorism and Sanctions Policy, and Procurement Policy. We ensure that our recruitment partners undergo due diligence processes and acknowledge their understanding of modern slavery legislation.

Remediation Measures and Effectiveness of Actions

Yadros maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and is committed to taking appropriate measures to address any identified risks. Any issues related to modern slavery would be reported to our enterprise risk management committee for swift action.

Next Steps

As Yadros continues to expand its operations, we remain committed to enhancing awareness and implementing measures to combat modern slavery. We anticipate further developments in compliance with relevant legislation as we grow our presence in various regions.

Statement of Approval
